synthcrash was made mainly to finally kill off my previous user, nyakawaiiballs. I just wanted name that had a techy theme and resonated a bit more with me (and not immature and embarrassing to say aloud lol). I use this name for "official" stuff like labelling art/anims though.

In 2023, I loved to change my Roblox display name to something... unique I'd say. Most of them, were related to balls. Yes. I was very insufferable back then. There was expiredshrimp, wrinklenuts, ihave_nobaIls, kawaiiballs, mega_pigeontackler, pigeonfighter... and then I thought "yo rewind rq that one got potential"... just add "nya" at the start (cuz its kawaii haha get it) and boom it's nyakawaiiballs...

For TTeru, I played this mobile game called "Cat Room" when I was a kid. You just take care of cute cats in a room that you can decorate. When you first start the game, you had to enter your room name/username. I couldn't think of anything so I asked my mum, who was busy on her phone, but still typed in "teru". Till now, I have always used this as my personal online name. The double Ts are for the Korean pronounciation "de-ru" (떼루), similar to how "tteokbokki" is actually pronounced "deokbokki" (떡볶이).

ROBLOX - Basically everything about it, like its history, games and OC stuff.
Project Arrhythmia - I like the levels, especially the Polygon series, and I look forward to making one myself someday.
Exploring the web and collecting what I find... - Mainly old stuff like decade old apps.

I listen to genres usually from the EDM space. I like Hardstyle, Happy Hardcore, Dubstep and other I guess "strong beat" stuff. And no, I don't listen to particular artists, it's just whoever.

Art/drawing has been part of me for a while now; I remember my early days of life where I drew distorted stickmen with incomprehensible English/Korean captions and griefed my older sister’s English notes with drawings of Anpanman. Nowadays I draw… um, nothing much other than Roblox characters? OK ok... don't run away... of course I draw other things... ha... ha... Anyway, I’ve had almost 8 years of doing fine art classes and digital art. I started off digital art from… being inspired by MLP and PPG speedpaints on YT. Including the creepypasta ones. My sisters probably thought I came out of the womb mentally warped as I carefully slid the mouse to create the bloody masterpiece with MS Paint on the family computer.

Then came the 2017 - 2019 animation memes. And also Alan Becker and BFDI. I watched everything and formed that spark of “I wanna do that too!”… but one-digit year old me did not have the brain power nor hidden young talent of creating such things. Nowadays, I think I'm a pretty fast learner so I can use apps like After Effects and Blender at an intermediate level. Animating is also one of my core hobbies along with art cuz its um, fun. And yes who would’ve guessed, I animate Roblox characters... but of course I animate other things, right? ha... ha...

Coding probably came from my dad's genes, since he's a professional computer man and mathematician. I have an interest for the digital, computer and internet world so yeah. I'm currently studying computer science, alongside practising Python, HTML/CSS/JS. I started off with Scratch when I was 9 and Python at 10, but, I'm still not the best at Python till this day... I mean at least I'm a master at block coding ha...ha...

Now video gaming. I don't have the time to play a lot, but old me you were an absolute LOSER. I got my first taste of gaming from watching my sister play Ace Attorney on her Nintendo 3DS - Then stealing it to play Legend of Zelda, though my gameplay was tragic of course because my brain was the size of a cashew. Minecraft Bedrock was my first computer game, I remember playing on the free trial version on the family computer. My dad was nice enough to buy the full version for me later on and I built stuff in creative and played in those default servers. I moved onto MC Java though, bcuz of Hypixel and it's just better. In 2020, my friend from Singapore wanted me to play Roblox with them for their birthday. I knew about this game was from the very beginning, but never wanted to join it because my other friends told me about all the crappy stuff that happened on there. But oh well, I made an account and played Clone Tycoon 2 with that friend. "Hang on, why this kinda fun??" I think to myself after playing, as I go straight back to MC Java to play Skyblock... Throughout the COVID-19 pandemic, my other friends convinced me to play Roblox with them, and now THAT'S when my Roblox phase actually started. 2021 - 2024, I'd play it more by myself. Genshin Impact and HSR slipped in too (okay i actually hated these games in the end tho). All those hobbies I mentioned earlier? Bro let me play Arsenal I don't gaf

Although I wouldn't consider it an addiction bcuz I still maintained a healthy life, yeeeeah my gaming phase was bad. But after not having friends available to play with after school and realising how it will literally do nothing meaningful for me in the future, I eventually eased down and replaced my free time with the other hobbies. Till this day, people assume that I'm gonna just rot in my room and play games each holiday, I hate being known for that...
